If you need aluminium multilayer composite pipes, press fittings or brass threaded fittings for plumbing and heating installations, you can find them with us in Hagen. In German, this pipe is called Alu-Verbundrohr or Mehrschichtverbundrohr; in Turkey it is also known as pex or pexal pipe. The German term for a press fitting is Pressfitting, and for a brass threaded fitting it is Messing-Gewindefitting. All products are under pipes and fittings.
Aluminium multilayer composite pipe
Our pipes have five layers: cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X) inside and outside, with butt-welded aluminium in the middle. They are lightweight and easy to shape. They are used for radiator connections, underfloor heating and drinking water lines.
- White coils: 16 × 2, 20 × 2, 26 × 3 and 32 × 3 mm
- White 4 m lengths: 26 × 3, 32 × 3 and 40 × 3.5 mm, for risers and distribution lines
- With 6 mm insulation, red and blue: from 16 × 2 to 32 × 3 mm
Red and blue have the same technical specifications; the colour distinguishes flow and return or hot and cold water. All pipes: aluminium multilayer composite pipes. For internal diameters and insulation thickness, see the pipe guide (German original).
Press fittings
Our press fittings range from 16 × 2 mm to 40 × 3.5 mm: 90° press elbows, press couplings, press tees, reducing tees and couplings, male and female threaded adaptors from 1/2″ to 1 1/4″, adaptors for 15 and 22 mm copper pipe, wall-plate elbows and concealed valves. In German product names, IG means female thread and AG means male thread; for example: male-threaded press adaptor.
For wall-mounted tap connections, there is also a 16 × 2 mm mounting unit with two wall-plate elbows and a mounting rail in the warehouse. Before pressing, cut the pipe square and calibrate the end; pipe cutters and calibrators are also available in the tools section.
Which press tool?
The fitting and press jaw profile (contour) must belong to the same system. Our press profile guide explains the correct profile. For press tools, see tools and the press tool guide. For the choice between press and compression fittings: press fittings or compression fittings.
Brass threaded fittings
For threaded connections, brass threaded fittings (Messing-Gewindefittinge): couplings, nipples, reducers, elbows, tees, caps and plugs, from 3/8″ to 1 1/2″. To choose the correct thread type, see the IG/AG guide.

Frequently asked questions
Which pipe diameters do you sell?
16 × 2, 20 × 2, 26 × 3 and 32 × 3 mm in coils; 26 × 3, 32 × 3 and 40 × 3.5 mm in 4 m lengths. The press fittings suit the same diameters.
Press fitting or compression fitting?
A press fitting is crimped with a press tool and forms a permanent, non-removable connection. A compression fitting is tightened with a spanner and can be removed. Details are in our press fittings or compression fittings guide.
Which press profile is required?
The press jaw profile must match the fitting system. If you are unsure, send a photo of the fitting or call us so we can check together.
Can I connect to copper pipe?
Yes. We have adaptors from composite pipe to 15 and 22 mm copper pipe, some with compression fittings.
