What is a radiator cover panel?
A Plan-Abdeckplatte cover panel is a smooth steel front panel, powder-coated white. It fits over the profiled front of a compact panel or valve-integrated panel radiator, giving it the calm, flat appearance of a flat-front radiator. It is useful when the radiator works well but you dislike its appearance, or when you want a new profiled radiator to have a smooth front.
The panel covers the front. The grille on top of the radiator remains visible.
Which size do I need?
Choose the cover panel by the radiator's height × width, measured at its outside edges. As with our valve-integrated panel radiators, height comes first: 60 × 100 means 60 cm high and 100 cm wide. There are 30 sizes in heights of 40, 50, 60 and 90 cm:

If your size is not listed, we do not currently offer a panel for it. How to measure correctly:
- Height: Measure the outside of the radiator from the top edge to the bottom edge.
- Width: Measure from left to right at the outside edges, excluding the valve and connections.
- Front: Is it profiled, with grooves rather than a smooth surface? The panel gives it a smooth appearance.
- Photo: A photo from the front helps us if you are unsure.
Cover panel or a new radiator?
If the existing radiator provides enough heat and does not leak, it can stay in place. The panel fits over the front without pipework or draining the system. If you need more output or are replacing the radiator anyway, choose a new valve-integrated panel radiator and enquire about the matching panel at the same time.
Size and output: Does the panel fit our valve-integrated panel radiators?
The panel heights match those of our valve-integrated panel radiators: 40, 50, 60 and 90 cm. For example, if you choose a 600 x 1000 radiator, meaning 60 × 100 cm, the panel is available in 60 × 100 cm, smooth or with a pressed groove.
The heat output is specified for the radiator, not the panel. For example, a type 22 valve-integrated panel radiator in 60 × 100 cm provides 1,602 W at 75/65/20 °C and 824 W at 55/45/20 °C. Your installer determines the output your room needs.
Smooth or with a pressed groove?
The smooth version is available in all heights. A version with a pressed groove is also offered in 60 × 80, 60 × 100 and 60 × 120 cm. Both versions come with the same fittings; the difference is visual.
Installation: Clips and magnets instead of drilling
Each of the 30 sizes comes with 5 clips and 2 magnets. The 3 smooth retaining clips sit at the top beneath the grille; the 2 toothed spring clips at the bottom grip the radiator's lower edge. The clips slide onto the panel's folded edge and carry its weight. The magnets sit on the left and right of the radiator front and pull the panel flush.
No screws or adhesive are used, and the panel can be removed without leaving marks. Check the size and version before fitting.

What is a Plan-Abdeckplatte?
It is a smooth front cover made from powder-coated steel in white. It fits in front of the profiled face of a compact or valve-integrated panel radiator (bottom connection) to create a clean, flat Plan appearance.
How do I measure my radiator for the cover?
Choose the cover to match the radiator height × width. There are 30 sizes in heights of 40, 50, 60 and 90 cm, all with a smooth finish; 60 × 80, 60 × 100 and 60 × 120 cm are also available with a decorative groove. Measure the outside of the radiator. If your dimensions are not in the size selection, we currently have no cover for them.
How is the cover fixed: do I need to drill?
No. It comes with 5 clips (3 retaining clips at the top, 2 comb spring clips at the bottom) and 2 magnets. The clips slide onto the folded edge of the cover and carry its weight; the magnets sit on the radiator front and pull the cover flat against it. No screws or glue are needed.
Are the supplied fixings the same for every size?
Yes, all 30 sizes come with 5 clips and 2 magnets.
Does the grille on top of the radiator remain visible?
Yes. The cover only conceals the front; the top grille remains visible. The upper retaining clips sit underneath it.
Can I remove the cover again?
Yes, without leaving any residue. Because nothing is screwed or glued in place, the clips and magnets can be released again.
How does the enquiry work?

Yes, by arrangement. Freight shipping is available on request; simply mention it in your enquiry or call us. We also deliver to trade businesses with our own driver within a radius of up to 150 km around Hagen.
